I think Anonymous153838 is onto something here, it may not be religious, but we Americans are being screwed left and right and nobody is standing up for us. That's why certain real estate developer is doing fairly well in polls today. How can you tell me this is legal, they will cut 30k folks and I guarantee you that they will hire 20k back, but this time paid 50% less because they managed to get visa allowances to bring that cheap labor from offshore because they bribed the whole congress to pass laws that will allow them to do that. There are hundreds of thousands of H1B workers that come in mostly from India, Pakistan and China - they all go into IT. That drops the average wage for us but there is nobody to protect us. Go do any doctor's office and you will wait for hours because the doc is super busy tending (in parallel) five or six patients. But nobody is bring in more doctors to alleviate this shortage. No, we keep them busy and well paid. Why cannot we do the same thing with our IT folks, just let the market regulate it. Pay IT folks more and all will be good, more kids will chose the profession, there will be more Americans with IT degrees and it'll all self regulate.

Now now.. don't need to be racist. There are plenty of american citizen muslims who already work for hp and are also getting axed. It has very little to do with race and more to do with who costs more. Business will always care about what's cheaper for them, at the end of day goodwill and loyalty to country is never the primary concern for a business, even if it maybe so for an american of any faith.

There was an article this week from Business Insider about how HP is in the process of renegotiating the contracts of some workers that were sent to Ciber, matching their previous pay with HP. My dad (in Canada) who used to work for HP was laid off and sent over to Modis, forcing him to take a massive pay cut. With this recent news, does anyone know if HP is also doing the same thing with people sent to Modis/Adecco in the United States and in Canada, matching their offers as well?

Dear Anonymous153838. Although your political view about Muslims and others doesn't fit in the scenario of what is happening at HP. Think what is your own Corporate America, that is your own Americans (HP) are doing to you and your fellow HP employees, that is hitting yo right at your stomach and screwing you front and behind. So DO NOT get other religions involved in this by calling them devils. It is your own Americans doing it. Hope you get it.

First Carly now Meg -

These women (both staunch GOPer's ) loot and burn companies. They have no clue how to do anything but extract extreme wealth in a race to the bottom. The only people who really win are the larger shareholders and the executives. Customers, the majority of shareholders and the employees all get screwed.

In other words, Americans are getting laid off, to be replaced at a later date by foreign workers under the H1B Visa program working for less money. Basically uneducated Bosnians--or people from many countries, usually Muslims, who hate Americans and our culture, but somehow our government justifies in that they are high skilled workers. GOP Congress recently passed the Pacific Trade Agreement which will give the President great leniency in bringing in more of the devils. One reason a nasty man like Trump is so appealing to Americans who are getting screwed royal by our government every day.
