Markham guys contributed zero to QC and I can't believe they being there and Boulder site whacked big time. Worked with Markham folks, they do less than what Bangalore site contributes to QC. Just waste. Markham site has tons of Directors, Sr Directors and VPs

cannot agree more. Markham site contributed nothing yet they expanded fast. Ever worked with ppl from that site and dont understand why they have nearly 300 ppl there. those directors and sr directors are nothing but full of tricks and bs. It wont hurt at all to close that site.
Markham is a gravy train. Most at Markham site came in when AMD junked them. The junked brought in even more junk (mostly buddies, wives, brothers, sisters etc - definitely NOT very talented folks) from yearly AMD "junking" carnival. At the end of the day, there is a pile of dog-sh-it in Markham site.
Whatever little Markham does, can easily be done in Bangalore. Even British Pound depreciated as much as Can $, and the teams in UK are smarter and do more strategic stuff than what folks in Markham does. In Markham site, Sr Staff and Principal Staff behave as Directors/Sr Directors/VP in SD. SD has quality Sr Staff and above in tech ladder than Markham. All Sr Staff and above in Markham does is bounce meeting notes and status around. They have no clue what their teams are doing.
Don't make up these stuff, you disgruntled layoff! There are probably 2 directors and 1 vp for 200 people out there , while there are 40% doing nothing vp/directors in SD.
Don't forget , canadiAn $ is cheaper !
If you wanna whine, whine why SD don't cut more directors and VP. My team right now is still sitting 2 directors and 2 senior staff who are doing nothing and 3 work -like- a - dog developers
