Management and leadership are terrible. The way to move up is to KISS ASS, not necessarily to do a good job. Participation in office politics are a must to move further in your career at NBL. Any idea when layoffs are coming? Better options out there.

Same Here - By far the worst company I've worked for in my 30+ year career. I had never worked with so many two faced, back stabbing managers/employees/directors here, that I'm actually enjoying hearing they are circling the drain, even though I still have some of their worthless stock I'd like to sell eventually. Fortunately I've moved on to a company where people actually value their employees, and enjoying working as a team... Imagine that. Nice to be back with Good People working together to make things happen.
Noble should have stayed at Greenspoint like the Ghetto company they are, instead of trying to copycat the Great Oil Company up in the Woodlands. No comparison.
Get rid of current managers and especially the Short/Fat Arrogant Director, and start from scratch. That would be a good first step for this company. The good people have already moved on.... You see whats left.
The sooner you get laid off by this company the better. Getting laid-off will allow you to move on with your life and get a better opportunity. This company is headed to the trash heap. We all know it.

layoffs not happening until November, Noble looking to limp along by then. If layoffs happen in November, the charges can be written off the 2015 books. Makes no sense to do it before. The company can squeeze everything it needs from the employees before now and then and still have time to take the write off during the 2015 calendar year. Anyone not looking for a job is either stupid or currently in management
It will happen soon. The juvenile management can't fake through this. A few hundred of us will likely be shown the door. And I'm not sure it's a bad thing.
it may be shitty....but at least it is a paycheck, with oil down having a paycheck is better than not having one
