Now, there is a ton of rumors about potential Pepsi layoffs slated for Q2 2016. I am not sure if this is true, apparently the IT group will be affected again as potential reorganization might be starting to be planned in November 2015, so if we assume that it'll take a couple of months to plan things and craft the support (e.g., communication, paperwork, etc.) things might start to unravel in Q2 2016, layoffs will come with a boom.

500 employees at Pepsi Direct call center Winston Salem NC to be transferred/ outsourced to Cognizant July 2016.
Quaker Oats included?
Losing money!! When has Pepsico lost money for the calendar year.
Everyone in IT from the fourth floor who was of a level 8 and below are now Cognizant employees. This action is being made as people are being moved out of the Somers building. Technically it is correct that Pepsi didn't lay anyone off, or terminate anyone, as a result of the move, but how long will they keep marginal Cognizant employees on after the move? Once the move is done, then I can foresee Cognizant people being let go piecemeal - let's hope Cognizant has assignments for those employees that Pepsi doesn't want anymore. They're moving to an executive-only, outsourced model, but they are already top heavy in executives. Can the higher levels of employee be far behind in that part of a company which has been losing money for 10 and more years? What will so many executives do, with everything outsourced?
