Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

Baker Highes has the worst account managers of any service company. We are now 10 months into this buyout and they have shown how little with they have. As product lines have run out of work instead of seeking new work the company has closed down bases and let the teams go. And usuall not just a few but all. This once great company is no longer seeking work unless it comes to them because everyone see the end. It is almost criminal what we are seeing happening. We will see more layoffs over the next few weeks and then again in October. It is more important right now even though we have been told in every correspondence that Halliburton and BHI are competitors to get rid of BHI assets and people. We will going forward see things that do not make any sense to anyone. We will tell customers we can no longer work for them and make excuses for our actions. Our core values and mission statement no longer have a purpose. What makes this disappointing is because we were told that we had a purpose and we made a difference and the teams we have built could make a difference in what we do from day to day. I think most of us want this deal to just be done so that uncertainty can be over. God bless you all and good luck.
