Yes I signed the paperwork before I left.
Yes They said 1 week for every year up to 13.
Last time they added my severance pay to my regular two week check plus my vacation and taxed it all. Did you sign the paperwork before you left and did they tell you only one week for every year no more than 13 weeks

Also don't they just tax what you normally claim?

Laid off on Sept 23rd and was paid severance on the 8th of Oct...remember it will be taxed at 37%
