Well, now that they are building a Wind Tunnel in Mexicali, Mexico - the writing is on the wall for poor Torrance Aerospace workers - better believe it - your jobs will disappear and you will be on the un-employment line soon! Just look at Google Earth and see how big the Honeywell Mexicali footprint is....
It'll be like this until things even out from the compensation perspective... If I need a developer in Europe (for whatever reason), paying someone in Denmark about 70 Euros per hour vs finding someone in Romania to do the same thing for 10 Euros per hour, does not make sense. You'll see wages in "new" Europe rise over years but it'll take a while. There will always be a premium paid for 'old' Europe resources as they may be closer to the 'business action' but 'new' guys are catching up fast. We'll see what happens...
