If layoffs are coming please do it this week rather than further into December. Some need to plan a budget for the holidays. Layoffs any other week of December would be an even bigger slap in the face then getting laid of already is.

I know they are coming. I personally would prefer to be laid off beginning of December rather than a week before Christmas.
Layoffs are coming. You should already be aware. Google news info concerning the oil and gas and you will see it has not and will not pick back up anytime soon it will be several years before it does.
