Next wave severance package as generous as the first one?

I seriously think 300 directors in Qualcomm would have no more than 300 balls discounting women (if any). But they all have big mouths from too much licking.

They really could trim QCT down to maybe 500 people and it would run smoother, I hope more layoffs happen sooner than later.

"They" didn't call for volunteers last time you dolt! It was on an individual basis at the discretion of the top guy in the lay off group. In my case it was a senior vp. Anybody thinking they can simply volunteer and get a package better think twice about it. If you're not selected after volunteering, you're marked from that point on and may just end up leaving on a pip later.

If you're in a non-critical role and contributing little, you're offer to volunteer will probably be accepted, but let's face it: If you're in that position you're probably senior director or higher anyway. If you can collect a $500k/year compensation package without doing any work, then why leave?

Severance package will go on because Q has billions in the bank and risk of lawsuit if they change severance package.
