RIFs started yesterday in Dayton, not just for admin people. I'm in Finance and was given a termination date in January 2016

if your stock vests 1 week later you should still be entitled to it .... most RSU plans give a prorated stock award in the event of termination by the employer.
You did better than me, I'm being pushed out on Friday, the week before Christmas... And of course so convenient for them as my stock vests a week after that. I've been given a WEEK as a "severance package" for each year of service.
Yep, pretty much everything you HATE about evil corporations -- they take the cake.
I blame myself as I believed the TERADATA Orange Kool-aid that they are an ethical Midwest company. What a HUGE mistake in joining them!
