Well I don't know about the Xmas party. But over here in Youngsville louisiana slb sending us to golf tournament, fishing trips and skeet shooting.

well isn't that nice, take people's livelihood but still celebrate the holidays big time with the gang. What a concept, I guess none of those big management personnel has a conscience, hope y'all sleep well at night. Sweet dreams....

It's not a coincidence that every slb employee that I know put all kind of his or her family pics on facebook. From profile pics with his wife and kids to fb wall pic. Here I am with my wife, here we are together as a family so consider that HR and spare my position. Don't lay me off please. KMSL certain people do what it take to keep that biweekly check coming in.
Maintenance mamagers didnt do that. He knows it will cost slb more money to lay him off than to keep him. Just saying.
the other part of this devious plan is not to provide transport for the employees so they have to drive home drunk and can then be fired with just cause and save money on severance fees. quite a masterstroke and I am surprised that slb employees are stupid enough to fall into this trap
Cost will be offset by laying off drunk folks on the spot.
