Repeating what another person posted inside another convo thread "rumor is that there will be about 100 people left in Omaha when all is said and done whose role will be to manage projects and oursourcing company. 80 or so people were 'sold' to Treehouse"

So my question is if 100 is the number, then IT will lose around 700 people (40 were removed on oct 16 and 80 are going with ralcorp. It has to be less, because I believe about the same have been offered early retirement. So if half take the offer then we are already are over 1,000 and it does not count for supply chain (which I hear that number is huge), finance, and other areas. Anybody know numbers of people gone today?

only a handful of IT will be going to Chicago (think desktop support or similar). all other IT is being considered to be outsourced to India. details should be known in 30-60 days. rumor is that there will be about 100 people left in Omaha when all is said and done whose role will be to manage projects and oursourcing company. 80 or so people were 'sold' to Treehouse

Good if they keep it either in Omaha or Chicago as long as job is safe. I heard they are looking to outsource IT, so we will have to see the outcome after that.
