Screwed up the purchase of the PL biz, lost billions cause they couldn't run the PL biz, bungled the announcement to move to Chi town, screwing up the sale of the PL biz... Is anyone surprised they are fumbling the layoffs? Dragging this out just shows how incompetent management is and how little they care of their current and future employees.

So very true of cag IT mgrs and could not be truer of her. A joke amongst her peers and a bully to her direct reports.
If there is any good coming out of this it's that it seems much of the unnecessary management is being shown to the door.
Upper management are clowns with no skills but you will be just fine as you follow the following ConAgra rules: 1) You never ever go around your boss. 2) Tell your boss what she wants to hear, even when your boss tells you that she wants to hear all opinion (including the ones that she opposes) 3) If your boss wants something dropped, regardless of if it's appropriate, you drop it. 4) Do whatever your boss wishes and anticipate what she wants 5) Do not report things that your boss does not want reported, cover it up. While you are at it - just do your f***ing job and and you keep your mouth shut.
