Thread regarding Noble Energy Inc. layoffs

Shame on me, shame on you, SHAME ON US!

This is directed at my fellow Canonsburg Land "TEAM' members-

Please take a few minutes and think about how we have represented ourselves-as a Department AND as individuals-on this page, in our words and IN OUR ACTIONS over the past weeks and MONTHS!Consider just what a pretty picture we have painted of ourselves for the benefit of the other Land Departments, Management, any outside company that looks at these posts and OURSELVES! Honestly, pretend you're on the outside looking in-would you hire ANYONE associated with this Department? I'm not being "holier than thou', though I'd like to hope that, if I'm looking for a job a week from now, I'll get an opportunity to be judged on my abilities...as a whole, we've soiled our bed, and we are going to have to sleep in it. 'WE' trashed our former boss and others to the point they were let go. A few smart ones left of their own volition. what have we learned and what did we gain? In the past few months a lot of us merely took advantage of the 'transition'; we've shown our true nature by going after our fellow "TEAMMATES", our supervisors and our Managers. Should we feel this will help ANYONE"S cause? SERIOUSLY?? We've become toxic by our own words and actions, and very soon there will be hell to pay for all.

Really, Anonymous191921? Tell you what, let's meet op in front of the Canonsburg building next Friday after work-if either of us are still employed. I''d like to see just what a 'class act;'looks like! The rest of you bigmouth, badmouthed talkers are welcome to come along, too. Birds of a feather flock together!

Lets call ourselves the "A-Team". That would be rad.

Thank you landman! You've said exactly what I was thinking. I believe most of us would like to stay with Noble and sincerely hope we'really given the opportunity. For those that are truly unhappy here, talk to your manager. If you're hoping for a severance package let him know. If management has any last minute input they may be able to grant your wish. My hope is that if I'm lucky enough to stay, we build this department into a stellar example of being a team.

Landmen are all fast talking sales people who couldn't hack it as used car salesmen.

Problem is that no one knows who writes any of this general garbage. It may not have been anyone at Noble at all. Or it could have been someone who was let go years ago and still holding on to a grudge. If this is anyone's idea of fun, they need help and prayers Regardless of who wrote what it is sad for everyone. I'll not waste my time checking posts ever again

Damn-the Truth Hurts!

For those that get to stay, maybe Management will pick up the bill again at All-Stars once they clean house! Bet it won't be such a big bar tab this time around, with such a small crowd...CHEERS!
