They should layoff or fire the people taking bribes from the vendors and taking advantage of them out of the PCG strategic sourcing group who are making it bad for NOV as a whole. They have good people in this group but a few bad apples are ruining it. Ricardo Fernando Perez and Lacy Stryk which are thieves or the totally useless like James Briles who does nothing but suck ass and give bad advice and Danny Chandler who does not know anything except how to kiss ass and is responsible for the vendor mess in the first place - and picks dumbass James Briles to help fix it. Ricardo Fernando Perez and Lacy Stryk making NOV business decisions based who gives the most kickbacks, expensive drinks, nights on the town, dinners and football tickets, Centerline Mfg usually buys the most stuff for these guys but there are others like Navasota Oilfield with golf outings at Blackhorse Country Club and getting drunk with Ricardo Fernando Perez. Hunting trips (For James Briles, Danny Chandler and several others in the plant - just check when they go on vacation the same time every year, with Breaux) Yes that is right - the news is all over Houston and hopefully it will get to NOV Corporate and they will investigate. But that is the one way to make sure you are going to get more orders from NOV PCG. Just play ball and spend money on Ricardo and/or Lacy. That is how to get orders and parts. Over half the plant and several vendors know about it. Simply Disgraceful for such a Great Company. It will take many years my former Team at NOV to recover from this. Totally Unethical Practices and it is a shame NOV Upper Management does not know about it. They try very hard to do something good and unfortunate but they got the wrong people working it.
Got laid off about 3 weeks ago. Loved working at NOV, hate to see what is happening.
