868- that's pretty funny (considering AT&T paid Verizon to build out it's wireless network). My group covers 50+ central offices and every single one of them has a 7100 in it fror AT&T wireless circuits to run through (along with many other circuits but they were put in place, bought and paid for, with AT&T wireless money).

VZ wireless is planning to lease all the wireline access lines from ATT and cable companies after selling off its own wireline network.

460- cellphones won't work without fiber. They aren't line of sight like walkie talkies, they need a network to support them and that's what wireline does.

No,

They want to become a totally wireless company (customer pointing).

The leadership does not believe in Fiber, or Copper.

They feel in a few years (5G?) will replace it.

They are not going BK, now or in the future.

But they want to kill all the good jobs (except theirs) in the US.

This is what shareholders and the employees feel, given the DNA of Worldcom and old ATT is in VZ brain cells.

Is this a rhetorical question?
