In completions group: 5 from RMC, 2 from Packers, and 2 from SMS have either left or put in 2 weeks notice and are leaving.... Where are they going? Are layoffs coming to the completions group next? Of is their departures saving jobs. Time will tell...

I only know of one in SMS who left. He went to company he was with before coming to SLB. I am not sure if this post is true. 9 people is a lot.
My friends! You remember me! Yeah! I wish you all the best. I love you all dearly, but not queerily. Miss those good old days at SRC. Except the time I got aluminum foil for breakfast, that was a mean prank. I did not have any thing to eat that morning... Good times! I would post some pictures on here but it only allows text. We had the best van pool group ever! I even got to drive.

It is folks going to the Holiday party after being let go that caused the party to be cancled... Did the guy work on second floor? I remember seeing him in soccer shorts and always with a bowl of food that could feed a country... not to mention the Toastmasters flags he had in the office. That guy is the man! Came to holiday party after being let go. Now posting on the rumor website bring back memories of the MAN!

Did they retire?
They should have waited it out... If they get let go at new companies, then they will have no incentive. Economy is bad out there for Engineers... There is no garontee other companies will keep you if you leave. So stay put.
At SRC we had Soccer on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Toastmasters on Wednesdays, and I could eat left over food from all the other groups lunches... not to mention every other Friday off and the one worked was payday... To bad I was let go last December. Do not have those benefits at new job and do not get the pay I did at SLB... At least I still got to go to the holiday party even after I was let go the week before...
