She is always preaching from her expensively refurbished ivory tower in Purchase that the serfs who she gives 1% raises to and then lays-off must do more to save the world.... blah blah blah....somehow I doubt it...Indra seems to be all about Indra...

"Positions are impacted?" Impaction is for a wisdom tooth, not taking away people's jobs. If Indra Annoying wasn't taking so much of the money and funneling it to Cognizant, those people wouldn't have to lose their jobs.
That's why Pepsi in particular is so ridiculous. They execute these things as if in total secrecy, and make some pretense that it's to protect the employee. The remaining people there don't notice who's not there the next day? Management thinks that no one talks to each other? It's just one more way that Pepsi tries to exert complete and utter control over every one. But it's a soda company. They sell soda. Soda.
