has anyone contacted the ethics hotline on SS to report his vendor relations and the kickbacks he received? (Google glasses were one mention, the other accommodations and entertainment outside the U.S.) someone should and provide the evidence as he has clearly violated your company's code of conduct.

Code of conduct-- now that's a laugh. Try hanging around the executive floor two weeks before Christmas and see the endless gifts sent to Carol's office by all the merchandise vendors.

Follett family is on this board. If they care, they will investigate. Wouldn't be hard to check with vendors he deals with. Want to bet they don't bother?
Different rules for him. No repercussions for illegal behavior for senior staff.
The helpline's a nice fast track to retaliation. You'll need to go outside the company's infrastructure to make a difference there. Document everything. Good luck!
