As soon as this slump is over I will be out of this place and if it wasn't for my family i would have quit already. used to to be a goo place but its horrible now

The company used to focus on the clients. Now it's people focus on climbing over the next guy to get to the top. Management focuses on meeting internal objectives that have nothing to do with delivering service to the customer. Get that Promotion, PIP and options at all cost....... Please get me that package.

Sounds like you have been with SLB for a while. Having come from one of SLB's acquisitions, I cannot comment on what SLB used to be like, but I found its culture to be not optimum with everyone managing their careers instead of managing the products/services and taking care of their people.
