Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

MI SWACO FLORENCE KY People walking out or giving 2 week notices . More layoffs as well .

Good people walking out of there're positions and at least 5 giving two week notice after years of faithful service

Folks this is a product of failed management practices not the downturn.

Once a great place to work now a model of how not to handle a a facility that houses hard working dedicated people .

These people are telling the story for you stockholders .

Management cannot be trusted with your company any longer .

Moral is at an all time low and people are fed up with the way the decisions are being made .

People who have poor records with the company are being retained and others who don't are being let go .

Failed safety practices that have been pointed out for years are being ignored by management who don't have answers .

Poor placement of engineers who have no earthly idea how to facilitate new products that can be successful in the market .

Ron I owe you nothing ....

And if you are truly the Ron that works at Sweco I surely have nothing to worry about as far as my work ethic .

This site is anonymous and for good reason .

It's a glass door look inside companies .Its here to help folks get a better idea of the real value that a company can bring or in this case just what a company can take from you .

I don't feel threatened by your comment I feel like my original post was a fair assessment of what people see on a day to day at Sweco .

So before you go running off at the mouth first you better get out from underneath someone's desk .

It's hard to talk with something already taking up space .

If you're going to call people out by name at least be a big enough person to stand behind your comments and sign your real name to them. Or, you're just a coward.

The plant manager needs to focus more on making oil field equipment and less on making pizza. Maybe then things would improve a little.

Just another example of how Schlumberger are destroying value in the acquisition of MI. They need to fire people to reduce costs to cover up the business they are losing globally as a result of their pig headed management style. History repeating itself.
