SVP of Supply Chain is suddenly out. What did GT bring to Follett over the last two years, and any news behind his apparently sudden decision?

Lets be clear there is no way DG got rid of his buddy GT. Not only would/does it reflect badly on him since he is the once hired him AND supported him in every wholesale decision made. This was definitely forced by RG who finally had enough. RG is going to right this ship by making additional necessary changes.
Wholesale will continue to struggle especially with its technical talent leaving as well. Huge void.
I heard he got a new job at The Jerk Store.
Don't stop with text. He also destroyed the planning dept for GM. Got rid of or drove out some of the best talent we had. DW, KR and KC. Bad product asst, blame the new VP promoted by GT. Out of basics? At least Retalon worked before in GM. And , wtf with prices??! Totally f'd up when they let KC go. Bad promos, duplicate listings, prices go down then up on markdowns. Planners don't return calls or emails to stores anymore. GT was an arrogant SOB who doesn't deserve to work with anyone.
He did more damage to Follett's employee morale, vendor relations, text management, and sales than any single person before his arrival. But, let's hope the family doesn't stop there and doesn't take seven months to tip the next domino. GT's direct reports are unqualified for their positions and also detrimental to those same areas mentioned above. All four need to go. Bring back ST for Supply Chain, RJ for Distribution, and MT for Course Materials.
Other than he was the most arrogant and condescending a-hole I ever met .......... Thought he knew everything, demeaned others... He didn't resign if that's what you heard. Glad he is gone, but too late to save anything. Got rid of MD,CB, FP, DW and many many more. Whatever he got to exit is too much. Jerk.
Hes an arrogant prick that knows nothing about the book industry. The junk yard of old edition books in aurora is all thr proof of his arrogance and narrow mindedness.
