Let's face it, if you spend more than 4 hours a day sitting at a desk and staring at your computer, sending emails and things, then you should have very little job security.
And that sums up to what many people do at WFT.

I used to sit there and do absolutely nothing but deal with my home business while I was at work. There was nothing at all do to so at one point I didn't care and kicked up my heels and started watching a movie with my door closed and door shut with the lights off. My boss came in gave me shit and gave some bs meaningless crap to do and finally I just walked out the front door without saying anything to anyone. That place was absolutely ridiculous. I couldn't believe they paid most of the people there to do next to nothing all day and play pretend all day
The biggest question that no one is asking, is why are we still importing millions of bbls of middle eastern oil? Why can't we use up our oil?
I landed a cube desk job couple of years ago, and now I am in agony. There's nothing much to do, and I am embarrassed about it. I spend all that time getting ready to go to work in the morning, deal with rush hour traffic, find my cube, boot up my PC, and stare at an email screen. Not much there, so I look around and pass the time. Everybody else just filling time and space. People small talk with one another. Go to lunch. Come back, Stare at computer screen, Answer an email or two. Afraid to surf the web in case it is monitored. Wait for an email. Walk around and chat with others doing the same. Then wait to leave. Drive home through rush hour traffic.
Waste of life. Glut of oil in the world. So much natural gas in USA that the price is at all time lows.
And nothing to do.

What about all of the managers of shut down shops that are salesman now....do we need more salesman than service techs?
