Really, bro? You had your pick of all the crazy perks CHK'er receive, but you chose "parking garage."
Weak sauce.

Your arguments are so pointless people. It's so obvious that all of you are in fact CHK employees. You can tell by the false hope and immaturity. Don't worry, if you are laid off it will be the best thing that ever happened to you. Because then you will have to work eight hours a day without a gym, mediocre restaurants, parking garages, and all of your other perks. You will have to work an eight hour day and actually work. Like I said, best thing that could possibly happen to you spoiled f---s.
Yeah, real easy to consider $50 oil profitable if you look at a well level. Try to remember that CHK has several billion dollars of debt coming due in the next 24 months, and $50 oil will not service that debt. Also, the longer oil lingers around at sub $50 prices, the more likely CHK is to draw on their LOC and make the situation even more dire. I got news folks, there will be massive cuts in 2016. Wait until the earnings call in March when Doug E. Fresh has to explain a $20B loss and why he has done nothing to address excess G&A expense, aside from cutting yet another dividend which won't help with the investors who are already fed up with this dumpster fire.
the production price is actually $36 however with overhead you need $60 PB
And the fact people say shale oil is a red flag too. Majority of high producing horizontal fields are sands. Not shales. And it's frac'ing. Not FRACKING. Stupid hippy f---s.
Wrong. You obviously aren't part of the company. If you were, you would know that we've busted our asses and are now profitable in the 50s for a large portion of our areas. Those which aren't will be sold so we can focus on the cash generators.
Shale companies need around 60-70 Per barrel to survive.
Oil could go to $50 tomorrow and CHK would still need a RIF.
Until oil prices are stable and over 50 per barrel. The shale oil is not profitable and the oil gas sector in the US will continue to be down, unfortunately...
Oil had one good day. Even if it slowly goes up, there is still going to be layoffs. Companies can't sustain these prices. I was laid off over a year ago when prices were higher than they are now.
