Thread regarding VMware Inc. layoffs

Apart from HyperV Azure stack and KVM, what are you all looking to?

Apart from HyperV and KVM, are anyone looking at any other Hypervisor Technologies and stacks as a replacement to the bloated, buggy and soon to be probably worst supported ESXi and vSphere? How easy is it to migrate VM's and the entire environment off ESXi?

Any caveats or pitfalls I need to be aware of?

Not many are as stupid to move away from a stellar product that you claim as bloated n buggy, on the contrary people have burnt their fingers with openstack solutions.. It takes rocket scientists to put it together. And no they haven't moved away from desktop products either.

Haven't seen any divestment from their corporate products. It seems like they're pulling out of the desktop market is all. I'm not worried about ESXi, VCenter, etc. Should I be?
