Niobrara - Bad or Terrible COP Decision?

The company should have taken the offer when it had a chance to minimize value loss. However, management there continues to lie about the "future potential." Doesn't matter because when the asset is 5 years out, anyone in a decision making position will be long gone screwing up decisions in other BUs - most of them are out already in bigger and better positions. How about instead of making up type curves and adjustment factors, the managers actually be realistic about the potential?

Too bad there's a lot of really good people there that have to suffer for dumb supervisors like Pepe le Pew.
