There will be a VCIP, but the corporate component will be drastically reduced. If your BU didn't do well, then the VCIP will be very low.

I heard that maintaining the VCIP is management's top priority. Along with making dumb business decisions and running this company into the ground.

Layed off in October but told by HR that I will still receive a (pro-rated) VCIP IF current employees get one. I am looking forward to it covering my reduced dividend checks for the next 2 years during this downturn.

It may depend what the pack is doing. As I recall COP measures itself against both integrated majors and independents. This may help. The skeptic in me thinks management may all of a sudden not measure comp/bonuses in a peer group including integrated majors this year.
