Why is it that only cheapo chromebooks come with LTE built into the device? It's Qualcomm's fault. The QTax of 5% is levied on the final value. Who wants to pay 5% on a $2000 gaming laptop? That would be stupid, and Qualcomm, by implication, is stupid for forcing everybody to carry around $50 dongles (LTE tax: $2.50) instead of allowing it to be built into the device .... Greedy, there it goes, shooting itself in the foot, once again ...

Go to McDonalds for free wifi and enjoy delicious cheeseburger and French fries. Problem solved, whiners.
If you want it you can add it after the fact in a lot of high end laptops and save money, if it's important to you to have lte inside the laptop.
Being a three laptop family, I prefer a WiFi adaptor.
Is embeded LTE a feature that most people want? Why if you can use tether your smartphone?

One of the larger markets for laptobs is students; the other is working professionals. Assuming Q's LTE is a feature they even care about, who wants to carry around a dongle you can lose, along with all of your other crap?
