Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Bookstore sales up in Dec 2016- How is Follett losing?

Shelf awareness reports the following- .http://www.shelf-awareness.com/issue.html?issue=2690#m31432

How come Follet loses? Perhaps due to the fact its management is staffed with highly paid amateur hour VPs?

It didn't have to end this way. Well done Todd and the rest of your family. Should have left running the business to the pros. Y'all suck!

Amazon is a trillion dollar company with a million developer. I am not literal, but hey anyway...

You nailed it; make the customer happy. Follett still thinks the institution is the customer. The student is captive. What a terrible, outdated model.

Dear Follett; your customers PAY YOU! If you're writing a check to someone, they're not your customer.

Follett getting its ass kicked by Amazon. Follett is the dinosaur, its eFollett site is a joke the sales prove it. You can't even search for a title on eFollett? And what about that joke SKYO......a drain on margin and then shut down only kept alive to write off the millions invested over time than all at once. The winner in this industry is the one that makes the customer happy. Follett screws students on the initial sale and then the buyback. Todd? Be serious. Ray? Be serious.
