@ uak: It is less; and I'm assuming the bulk of the $25 million was in stock options that vest over time. However having watched the uncertain recent performance of stock at QCOM and tech stocks in general, he probably got a higher base salary/cash bonus structure than he had a QCOM.
25 mill is about half of what that position should have paid. I guess they got the fat loudmouth discount.
Somehow I have a problem seeing a guy who believes he can motivate others using verbal abuse, and whose marketing skills include reminding everyone within earshot that he has a Ph.D. in some sort of "science," as a successful marketing manager/strategist.
