The money we spend on Chevron Humankind projects is a big waste of capital. You know the words "Human Energy" we see in posters and banners everywhere? ... The words; Human Energy to me is synonymous with Big Fart. What else is human energy in the aftermath of eating beans and breakfast tacos...

You don't need Chevron to be able to volunteer your own time. Was the animal welfare organization you volunteered your time the NAACP? Waste of time.
Volunteer week was always something I looked forward to. I volunteered with some really worthwhile organizations and the experiences gave me insights and more of an awareness of things I otherwise wouldn't have received. I worked with developmentally disabled children and adults, low income families and animal welfare organizations. It was just one day out of the year, but the organizations were very appreciative of having the help and it was needed. I will tip my hat to chevron on this one.
I'd rather the money going out through Humankind to come to us in the form of higher salaries, rather than it go to match any charities we like or in additional taxes to the government. Won't you?
Play the game oiligarchy (just google it). It'll give you a new perspective on "human energy"
It's a tax write off. Would you prefer the money go to the government?
Considering that the company match of your donations to your favorite charity falls under the Humankind umbrella, do you really want to get rid of the entire program? Or just the stuff you don't like?
Chevron Humankind is only a "feel good" exercise. Why is it we need to waste our money and time on these things?
Yes energy creation does involve gaseous waste. Doesn't mean no good is being done.
This thing is so stupid and makes me mad
Yup
