On January 7, we restructured our AIG Financial Network (AIGFN) business by moving certain AIGFN financial professionals to AIG Partners Group, our distribution channel for independent agencies that work with a small number of carriers. Unfortunately this involved staff reductions at AIGFN locations throughout the U.S. While difficult, we strongly believe that these adjustments are critical to AIG’s overall strategic direction and simplified business model to ensure efficient resource allocation going forward. Were they too prideful to ask for bailout money again? If I were a policy holder I would be looking for a new agent and better company to pay my premiums to. This is NOT the way you treat employees!

Dignity and respect, they made me dump out my purse to make sure I didn't take anything which I did not. They closed all the sales offices and sent in 2 security guards and an hr representative, but they allowed the service offices to remain open until the end of April.
