Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

CHK still overvalued

I really feel like CHK should be valued around 2.50 or so. At least sub-3 dollars. The debt load and cash burn is a disaster waiting to happen. Take a look at CHK back in the 90s and early 00s. Thats a fair valuation. Pointless to hold unless you're stupid or stuck in a 401k match.

But that $3 stock price just doesn't feel so good. Would like to see AKM come back before Doug zero's this once proud company out. Layoffs past and future are primarily Doug's doing... Aubrey always knew how to hedge.

I'm with scooter on this one. Cash in your 401k now, sell your Tundra TRD and get some of that Kendall Jenner lip plump. I hear the boys at Devon like it that way.

65 cents a share is more like it. Company is losing money hand over fist ... by the billions.

Agreed. The company is probably just 18-24 months away from bankruptcy if prices dip any lower and remain there for a sustained period of time. CHK is destined to arrive in the O&G boneyard. Sell now or short the stock.

Clearly you were let go back in 2013. CHK changed to an all cash 401K match quite some time ago. Go troll another site. Nobody has anything to gain from the pointless garbage you have to share.

Interesting ... I really feel like you should shut the f*** up and save your opinion for a forum that is actually geared toward investing, not layoffs.
