Fortunately for us then, legal actions cost money, and Chesapeake is broke. HA!

In order to even use that data they would have to follow the Federal Laws of Evidence submittal process. They first would have to authenticate the data. The first problem is that there can be a large number of people that may have submitted a comment using that IP address. Then you could always challenge the computer generated report that the IPS service provided as being unreliable or inaccurate. Then they would have to magically get by the hearsay rule and go through everyone who could have ever used your unprotected wifi internet connection and have them testify on a stand under oath. Then finally they would have to adhere to this web sites posting as the Best Evidence Rule. Which this page is inline with our first amendment rights of free speech. So long story short CHK would waste a lot of valuable funds chasing their tails. Valuable funds they could have used with their attorneys fighting all the other lawsuits piling in. Type on fellow Anarchist.

There's also something called freedom of speach. They have better things to do, as in keep the doors open, before they request IP addresses and then track down who owns that IP. Then determine if it was an employee, spouse, roommate, stolen computer or your Cat. (I've seen on TV that cats can use a human toilet, it could happen)
