Halliburton is planning to cut its technology folks in Arbroath & Carrolton and move all business to Singapore making it the headquarters for the HCT division. Be scared white people. Be very scared.
I currently work in Hal SIngapore and this is indeed true. Many lousy folks got promoted to team leader and engineering manager positions with hardly 6-7 years of relevant experience. These folks don't even have the respect of their own subordinates.

Never even come close to Big Blue. Blue team easily puts 1 billion into R&D a year and only hires PhD level engineers from top schools like MIT, Stanford, and Georgia Tech.

The Hal mgmnt got no brains; proven and time tested again and again. First they gave double promotion to all the chinks and stinky currys for no reason. The party was not over and this time they are bringing all the horses, donkeys and monkeys in the same boat. All these boats should sink after the merger. They fkn drivin me nuts.
