someone has anger issues, must be one of those who escaped the layoff and is till employed at ConocoPhillips (for now)!
ok, a roll of pennies
You heard wrong. Better yet, get lost you troll.
I've heard that for all future layoffs, they're just giving people a roll of dimes and a handful of Chipotle coupons.
Got laid off 6 years ago. I got 60 weeks pay. Nice down payment on a house and a Lexus. Glad I am no longer with COP, plus I found a job 3 months later, so was getting double pay for almost a year. Thanks COP!!!
Yep. and yesterday was yesterday Sherlock. Got mine the last time and got the full amount 3 weeks for every year and 3 weeks off with pay and vacation. It was a nice chunk of money I must say. Glad to be out of there whowo take the money and run!!!
Everyone should know that severance payments are not required by law. Many companies do pay a severance and most only pay 2 to 4 weeks - nothing more. Don't think because ConocoPhillips has paid out more based on a formula, that they are required to keep that up. Today is today and Tomorrow is tomorrow.
It'll be announced Friday. 4 weeks maximum.
The credit facilities are in the process of renegotiation. The cash flow will cease. No cash, no severance. WTI and COP stock are at lows yet again.
Look for the COP severance plan on cop.com and ignore what you hear on this site by fear mongers - the published severance plan should provide you with the current formulas
No matter how long you have been with the company?
