Oil at $27.5 and falling. Asian markets in sea of red.

Is wednesday going to be the disaster day in the markets?

First, a disclaimer,... I am NOT a "safety nut". In fact, the way Chevron has gone about constructing a "safety culture" frequently makes me want to blow chunks. It's laughable. And, insulting. BUT,... has anyone noticed, seen, or become aware of the company's awareness of the current business environment's toxic effects on morale, and thus,... safety? Has YOUR supervisor, Team Lead, whatever, shown the slightest interest, or even cared enough to express their concern about YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY given the turmoil the company currently finds itself immersed in? Have they tried to engage, either one-on-one, or in groups, if nothing more than to recognize the stress, fear, concern, theoretically to help "defuse" it, to some degree? Or,... does your "leader" tend to remain, aloof, holed up with another peer(s) in a closed office, shooting the shit,... you know, the usual? Just curious.

Now all you need is a safety-related accident one of these days, similar to what BP experienced, and THAT would be the real disaster!

Honestly, $20 vs $30 isn't a huge difference, at this point. Both are equally bad for the industry. I estimated it would hit $22 about 6 months ago, think it will still happen.
