Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

The major layoffs are over for now.

Thoughts? It seems we haven't had masssive layoffs in awhile. I'm thinking the large layoffs are done until the merger either fails or is approved. Once that's been decided that's when the sh** train will start a rollin' until then it will just be 10-20 here and there

There will be layoffs in the first two weeks of every month, for the next few months at least. It will be peppered all over the place. Names have already been submitted for Feb.

Canada will get by till breakup, and then it's gonna be the pain train again.

Recent drop in oil price will result in additional rigs dropping and thus less activity as a whole and so... Yes, more layoffs likely.
