If they know and announced that we will have low production for the remainder of 2016 why do we not cut work we hours through 2016 to M-Th? Cost savings & Moral boost =win win......

Your lazy asses only work 4 days a week as it is you just show up for every other Friday and milk the system. You don't deserve a reason to work even less.
The oil and gas industry is competing with all other industries. If the oil and gas industry does not continue to be competitive with all other business the oil and gas industry will loose valuable employees. The oil and gas industry is not a family company, despite the statement as such via the employees in Bartlesville.
There is a bigger cost savings in cutting down the workforce to a size that matches the level of work required. Sad to say, but lower for longer will result in more lay-offs. Think of it as Lay-offs for Longer.
