All the supervisors @ rankin have Faggot beards. Please tell me how having a beard and working around rotating and electrical machinery is SAFE. Even that huge HSE cracker ass guy has a big gay beard. I mean, where I come from in the oilfield, no one is allowed to have beards, not even Muslims. That's pretty much an HSE standard in any oil field company - but not so @ Baker.

In Canada they keep useless supervisors and managers and axe experienced, loyal employees. I realize the market is down and business is hurting but they need to be smarter when choosing who stays and who goes.
The whole company is a sorry shell these days. Executives at R.R. in both D.S. and W.S. cheer-lead the employees in a way that reminds one of herding sheep over a very high cliff. If the proposed merger or perhaps a more hostile takeover does not occur soon, the company may not ever recover because they continue to gnaw through their own flesh and into the very sinew and bones of their organization.
But face it, industry conditions notwithstanding, the CEO approached one of two major competitors to sell out as soon as it was practical for him to do so after assuming the reins of the organization. How loyal can one expect the other senior management to be toward the employees that have suffered through?
