Weatherford offers tuition reimbursement. Is that to better yourself and hopefully secure your job

Working at Weatherford does not mean you owe them thanks for employing you or that you owe them an ounce of loyalty. The days of loyalty between employer and employee have been gone since the 1940s.

Weatherford doesn't care about you personally, and if you're stupid enough to think that Weatherford, or any other company gives two sh--s about you then you deserve to be working at such a sh--ty company.

College costs money. It means taking out student loans and giving up alot of lifestyle for a few years, but in the end it is worth it if you get a job with some security. Having a skill set that is valuable outside of the oil patch is important if you want to have security while raising a family and it is worth temporary sacrifice.
