I'd like to see an engineer do anything but f--- up a simple blue print or a schematic or a fabrication spec. And when they do f--- up (happens very often) you can't get ahold of the banker hours working whiney f----ts anyway. So it takes 3 days to fix one of their f---ups by the time it hits the floor. You smug condescending polesmokers sure have a lot to say about us laborers while sitting on your perchers. Go down to the shop floor and run your opinions by any floor hand and I bet you'll be getting a steel toed (yes it'll be metatarsal safe) boot out of your ass
And I'd love to hand you guys some tools and watch any of you idiot savants build anything

Wow! Those are powerful and amazing comments. Halliburton is seeking people like you right now that can bring a fresh perspective to what has proven to be very narrow "engineer" type direction. Some engineers are getting offered to take other jobs which then causes others to lose their jobs and money because there is not enough work for all of them.
Blue collar workers will surprise you. Who do you think fixes the blunders that you engineers call jobs? We make them right then show you how we did it so you can make the design match the job that we made work. Then you sucks asses get the credit and eventually move into upper management jobs where yall are just as inefficient as managers as you were as engineers. So we have what we have today. Mass lay-offs because yall can not manage the company. When Erle P stepped down the company went straight to hell.....
That is the most ignorant statement I've ever heard. Of course your company needs engineers. Just fire them all and wait to see how long it takes for your company to bankrupt itself. I've seen it happen everytime. Besides where would you get your upper management from? Very few blue collar workers are intelligent enough to take on such responsibility....
Good 'n begin clearing house of all engineers like my bosses did in Canada. Engineers have no business working at halliburton. US management should use Nisku as a beacon of hope.
