Given all of the empty Houston office space, would it make sense to consolidate everything in Houston and shut down Bville completely? We are now a smaller company and consolidation makes sense.

I figure, just like @GF9cZkZ-1scp, that our takeover company will be the one who shuts down Bville. It just makes sense - remote undesirable location, less productive workers, unnecessary travel. In the current environment the shutdown, severance, and relocation costs outweigh the cost savings. However, for a company with deep pockets, the shutdown and relocation costs will be trivial.
It's our time (to close B-ville). Have you seen the sad stack of worn down people who wait for the shuttle bus to go to B-ville? They sit in the coffee bar in houston center office and stare into space waiting for their name to be called. It's sad. They also look in-bred.
There are excellent Asian massage parlors in the Houston area.
Don't worry. Exxon will handle it after the takeover.
As has been the case for some time, Ryan Lance and the ELT needs to stop acting like they don't know what to do. As the previous poster said, "We are a different company now, now is the time to start acting like a different company." Close B'ville and consolidate operations. Before you get to the point that you can't afford to. If you reach that point you'll be closing the doors in Houston as well.
Lance has no ties to Bville
Shutdown Bville and hire all new production accountants/IT staff from the greater Houston area. Would/should make perfect sense. We are a different company, now is the perfect time to start acting like a different company.
