Well, I am a piece of butthurt deadwood and I am consumed by the process and have become one with the ROM. My behavior emulates a Romulan Drone assimilated into the Borg.
BTW, the easy answer is that upper management is having meetings this week in Houston to discuss the upcoming assignments, people who will be given positions, left standing, etc. Also, I heard that from a reliable source. No big secret or surprise, though. The announcements are coming up shortly. Why the big surprise? It may not be welcome but it's gonna happen. Life goes on.

I may be in-scope but my life isn't so consumed by this process and outcome that I assume everything is ROM related. Executives can belong to outside organizations that may not have their own meeting facilities in Houston. Industry organizations can hold meetings at member company locations.
Does being condisending in an anonymous forum make you feel powerful? Did you feel a rush of the power you a)never had or b)was taken away recently in another re-org?

Those vehicles are here to transport the poor ole saps who get canned and didn't drive their personal car to the office. One last free ride home. If Chevron had any pity on these folks, they would also throw in a bottle of Jim Beam and a loaded revolver.
