Interesting Bloomberg article posted 6 PM yesterday that seemed to say GE wouldn't want all of BHI at least initially. The reasoning being GE hasn't gotten their too big to fail tag removed and that limits their ability to make big deals. And GE likely would want to wait a while after BHI pulled the plug HAL to allow BHI to right size b4 GE bought BHI. The HAL deal has limited BHI's ability to right size. Seems like an odd view given BHI has already canned 20K people.
HAL to fight DOJ in court to keep GE from buying BHI. HAL don't want GE as competitor. Just a thought. The deal was bad from the start. This court battle could wage on for a considerable amount of time. In the mean time they keep reducing cost to fund the craziness.
Corporate greed, all of the assclowns are still getting rich.
It was only a great idea merger for the few at the TOP knucklehead.
Why did you think it was a bad idea? The DOJ is rejecting it because they basically thought it was too good of an idea that it would be damaging to competition...
