The blood letting is over at MCBU's Houston office. I don't have exact numbers but the sense is that approximately 50% of the petroleum engineers and geologists were let go.

I don't think AMBU was in scope either. Never did hear how Midland shook out.
I don't think Pittsburgh was in scope - they went through their cut last fall.
what %'s were laid off in midland? pitt? was Houston worse?
42nd floor MCBU I would say almost 50% gone
HOU140 47th floor was a massacre
Yeah, by the time the work load is balanced, the next round of layoffs will kick. There are 4000 more total employees to gather rid of this year to meet the target of 6000 that was announced late last year. Don't get your hopes up too much.
A job offer was made to me late in the day today. While the wait and suspense was agonizing, I appreciate that MCBU prioritized the people who were being let go over those who were offered positions. If I had been let go after people had started rejoicing about their job offers, it would've added insult to injury. Considering the number and percentage of people laid off in various groups, it will be months of hard work before those left behind are able to balance the workload.
What floor is that?
My floor 65% gone.
It was terrible on 47th floor. Shocked right now. 15 gone and 8 left on one side.
On my floor it was easily 50%
