In my career with CenturyLink - there were many times that layoffs were announced, I am sure nobody is surprised when you hear that there is another round of cuts, it's pretty normal. I was laid off 2 times in 10 months.
Yet, I cannot complain about benefits (they were decent and employee wellness program was good). Pay was average at best, but I am better off now. I wish you all the best, I have nothing but praise about my CenturyLink colleagues.
