Thread regarding Denbury Resources Inc. layoffs

Any ideas on how Denbury will handle reserves replacement without any large scale CO2 project?

there's no reason to believe Denbury will go bankrupt in the foreseeable future. They would do well to partner with someone to develop some of their assets, but that's about it. When oil goes north of $60, cashflow will support add'l development. Time to sell the pipelines.

Denbury cannot grow without new CO2 floods. They have none they can put in over the next few years economically. Reserves and production will be declining faster that they want. They have no experience anymore on even putting one in. Their best talent left on their own because they were not valued by incompetent leaders.

You're exactly right, plus global warming is going to kill us all.
