Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Who is team blue?

I love this campaign. The campaign that could only come from the mind of an engineer. Which is precisely why it won't resonate with the average consumer AT ALL. But a 4 tone jingle from Intel will.

But really, why is this happening if the tech savvy already feel QC is years ahead of the competition.

Good idea mentioning Snapchat. I bet some old timer exec found out "the millenials" use "the snapchat" to send "the dick pix".

I think marketing peaked with the multitasking posters in toilet stalls. This latest campaign pales in comparison.

Team Blue Balls. What most engineers get cause they can't score with the ladies.

OP has a point. Qualcomm's ad people are so "tone deaf" when it comes to how their slogans will resonate--e.g.: the Ill-fated "Why wait...." campaign that left entirely too much to the imagination. So much so that it became the the slogan of choice for people quitting the company Qualcomm announced their RIF in July, especially after they found out about the purchase of private jet #6. Another favorite of mine is the "brain" constructed entirely out of vintage 20th century colorful telephone cable used on the website touting the newest Snapdragon chip. The irony....
