91 employees to be finished next week, the company are still taking 19 hours a month off us and the management are already offering overtime Fri, sat, sun for manufacturing staff.
I can think of a few that I'd like to see shot into space!! Lol
The redundancy package maybe less the next time around is the word......Houston we have a f---ing problem!!! 😆

I got made redundant from another Nov facility in the U.K. The first offer is always the minimum but we got an enhanced package with an extra 1/3 on top
Government minimum
half a week’s pay for each full year you were under 22
one week’s pay for each full year you were 22 or older, but under
one and half week’s pay for each full year you were 41 or older
Length of service is capped at 20 years and weekly pay is capped at £479. The maximum amount of statutory redundancy pay is £14,370
475 isn't that the bear minimum
They are going to honour the 475 for this redundancy

We are just beginning the consultation process at Manchester for the 31 redundancies can anyone at Gateshead give us a heads up on what sort of redundancy package NOV will offer. Are you being offered statutory minimum or an enhanced package. We would be grateful for any information.
